**The product.** A web app for small businesses and marketers. You paste the address of a website. Aiter reads the site and writes a marketing brief: audience, positioning, tone of voice and competitors. From that brief it generates ad copy for Google, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok, banners, social posts, emails, articles, SEO keywords and short video ads. Users pay for credits through monthly or yearly plans.

**Why it worked.** It is a small business with honest, payment-processor-verified numbers: US$18,627 of revenue in total over about three years, but only US$268 in the last 30 days, and on 1 November 2026 the team listed it for sale at US$7,000 because, in the seller's words, the team is moving on. The page shows what a small AI writing tool can earn in a crowded market, and how revenue behaves after the first years.

Evidence grades: A = disclosed by a public company, a filing or a payment processor, or verified by one; B = two or more independent reports agree, or a journalist confirmed it; C = a founder claim that no one else verified; D = reported, not verified: one founder claim or a third-party estimate with no second source; calc = computed on this page from graded facts.

## Summary

Aiter.io is an AI marketing agent, a program that does a chain of marketing tasks by itself after one instruction instead of answering one prompt at a time. The user gives it a website address. It reads the page, writes a marketing brief, a short document that states who the customers are, what the product promises, how the brand speaks and who the competitors are, and then uses that brief to write ads, banners, social posts, emails and SEO copy (search engine optimization: text written so that a page ranks in Google). The current version also renders short video ads.

TrustMRR, a site that reads revenue directly from a company's payment processor, shows US$18,627 of verified Stripe revenue in total, synced on 1 November 2026, of which US$5,145 came in the last twelve months and US$268 in the last 30 days. Current MRR (monthly recurring revenue, the sum of all active subscriptions for one month) is US$354 from 34 active subscriptions. The profile gives 24 June 2023 as the founding date, a team of 2 to 5 people and Dmytro Semonov as founder; Product Hunt lists him and a second person as co-founders. The company is registered in London. An EU programme for Ukrainian startups, Seeds of Bravery, named Aiter in December 2025 among startups that received grants of up to €25,000 each.

The revenue is real but small, and it is falling: September and October 2026 were the two weakest months of the last twelve. About 72% of the total came before November 2025. In February 2026 the team released a rebuilt product, and on 1 November 2026 it listed the business for sale on TrustMRR at US$7,000. An asking price is not a sale: no offer had been received when the profile was read.

## Pricing

Aiter prices on 1 November 2026: yearly prices from the company's pricing page, monthly prices from the founder-written TrustMRR profile (the monthly prices load by script and could not be read on the company page)

|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 0 | 0 | 10 credits, one time |
| Begin | 6.58 | 9.99 | 40 credits a month; US$79 a year; 8-second video ads |

| Conquer | 124.92 | 149 | 1,000 credits a month; US$1,499 a year; 30-second 1080p video ads |

Paid plans add daily bonus credits. Visitors get 5 credits without an account and 10 more when they sign up. Use from Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor through MCP starts on the Advance plan.

How to read this table: a grade A value comes from TrustMRR's connection to the company's Stripe account. A grade B value is a statement by an independent party. A grade C value is the company's own words, on its pages or in the founder-written parts of its TrustMRR profile. An X value was computed on this page from the rows it names.

## Why did Aiter.io work?

### Read the site before writing

General chat models write from the prompt alone. Aiter first reads the customer's website and turns it into a brief, and every ad, post and email is generated from that brief. The home page shows the same model's output with and without the brief, side by side. This is the product's main argument against using a chat model directly.

### Many small outputs from one input

One website address gives more than 45 kinds of asset: ads for four ad platforms with the character limits already checked, banners in the brand's colors, posts for five social channels, keyword tables, and short video ads. A credit system prices each output: 1 credit for most text, 5 for a banner, 30 or 65 for a video.

### Low prices, many free users

Visitors can try it without an account, and the free plan needs no card. The paid plans start at US$9.99 a month. The current MRR of US$354 from 34 subscriptions (TrustMRR) is about US$10.41 per subscription, so most payers are on the smallest plan. A large free audience turned into a small paying base.

### Free channels

The founder lists SEO, content marketing, a blog, email marketing and LinkedIn as the channels. The seller's message counts 80+ AI directory listings and a domain rating of 20. The robots.txt file mentions 31,700 search impressions for app pages alone, which shows that search traffic reached the site.

## How it was built

These details come from the founder-written part of the TrustMRR profile, the company's own pages and its Product Hunt page. They are grade C, except the Stripe connection, which TrustMRR verifies.

- Frontend in React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. Backend on Supabase with PostgreSQL, Google Cloud and the OpenAI API, as listed on TrustMRR.
- Payments through Stripe, read by TrustMRR through an API key.
- Sign-in with Google since 18 February 2026; the robots.txt file mentions a Firebase sign-in handler.
- The Product Hunt page of 2024 thanks ScrapingBee for web scraping, SendPulse for email marketing and Stripe for payments.
- The 2026 rebuild shipped many small updates: 56 dated release notes between 10 February and 28 July 2026, including localization (81 campaign languages on the home page), PDF export and share links.
- Advance and Conquer users can run Aiter from Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor through MCP (Model Context Protocol, a standard way for an AI assistant to call an outside tool).

## Who tried this before Aiter.io, and why did they fail?

Four companies in our database of failed startups tried to sell marketing software to small businesses or to automate marketing work, and failed. The values below are from that database and are not independently verified.

The failed startups come from our database of dead startups, retold here in our own words; Its entries are AI-assisted summaries of public sources, so they carry no evidence grade.

### Metigy (2014 to 2022; funding US$14M; cause: No Market Need)

- Promise: An AI marketing brain for small businesses, to replace a marketing team.
- Why it died: Small businesses wanted the work done for them, not recommendations. The advice was too generic, and the money ran out.
- Record:

### Marketfox (2017 to 2020; funding US$2M; cause: Competition)

- Promise: Marketing automation for online stores.
- Why it died: Mailchimp, HubSpot and Klaviyo offered the same and more, and it could not raise enough money to compete.
- Record:

### Argyle Social (2009 to 2013; funding US$2.5M; cause: Competition)

- Promise: A simpler social media marketing tool for workflows and engagement.
- Why it died: Larger competitors with bigger marketing budgets took the visibility; its updates were too small to stand out.
- Record:

### Salorix (2009 to 2014; funding US$3.3M; cause: Ran Out of Cash)

- Promise: AI that reads social media chatter and turns it into marketing insight for brands.
- Why it died: Its investors withdrew, and leaner AI startups competed for the same customers.
- Record:

## What changed

Metigy spent US$14 million on AI marketing advice that small businesses found too generic. Aiter does the part that Metigy's customers wanted: it writes the finished ads and posts, not advice, and a large language model makes that cheap enough for a team of 2 to 5 people. The cost of building fell from millions of dollars to a small grant and the team's time.

What did not change is competition. The same models that made Aiter possible are sold directly by OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, and many tools offer AI ad copy. TrustMRR shows that Aiter took US$18,627 in about three years and about US$270 to US$350 a month at the end, and the team decided to sell. A small team can now build an AI marketing product; holding paying customers in a crowded category is still the hard part.

## Can one person copy Aiter.io now?

**Verdict: The product, yes. The revenue, no.**

Building a context-first AI writing tool is within reach of a very small team, and Aiter shows a working design: read the customer's own website, write a brief, then generate every asset from it. The revenue result is the warning. Low prices and a large free audience produced 34 paying subscriptions, and the revenue fell in the last months.

1. Start every generation from facts about the customer's business (their site, their reviews, their competitors), not from a blank prompt.
2. Check platform limits (character counts, image crops) before the user sees the output, so the copy can be pasted directly.
3. Price by output with credits, so a video costs more than a headline.
4. Measure paid conversion early: a free user count of 14,300 is not a business if few of them pay.

**What is still open.** Narrower versions for one channel or one trade (restaurants, dentists, local services), or tools that publish and measure ads instead of only writing them. Aiter's own roadmap lists scheduled posting, running Meta and Google ads, and learning from results.

## What could go wrong for Aiter.io?

- **An asking price is not a sale.** On 1 November 2026 the business was listed on TrustMRR at US$7,000, about 2.2 times twelve months of the last 30 days' revenue. The profile showed 0 offers and 2 interested buyers. The seller wrote: "Our team is moving on to other things, so it needs a new owner." This page will show a sale only if a buyer or the seller announces one.
- **Small and falling revenue.** Revenue in the last 30 days was US$268 and MRR was US$354. The last three months brought US$973, about 36% less than the three months before. About 72% of the US$18,627 total came before November 2025, and TrustMRR does not show publicly in which months.
- **User numbers do not agree.** The TrustMRR profile counts 14,300 email contacts, the home page in 2026 says "20,000 + marketers signed up", and the home page in June 2025 said "15,000+ Catalyzed Teams". None of these is verified. The home page also shows "4.8/5 on G2"; that rating was not checked for this page.
- **Grant money and the word "bootstrapped".** TrustMRR lists the funding as "Bootstrapped", which is true in the sense that no investor owns a share. But Aiter's partners page says an EU grant through Seeds of Bravery "paid for a good deal of the engineering". The programme gave up to €25,000 per startup in that track; the amount for Aiter is not published.
- **Same models as the competition.** Aiter uses the OpenAI API, according to its TrustMRR profile. Customers can buy the same models directly, and many marketing tools sell AI copy. The brief-first method is Aiter's difference, and it can be copied.
