**The product.** A web app in Spanish for people who already trade currencies, US stock indices or stocks. When an event happens, such as a US inflation figure, a central-bank decision or a company's earnings, four AI agents look at it from four sides: macroeconomics, the positions of large investors, news sentiment and company fundamentals. Only a view that the agents agree on is published as a bias (bullish, bearish or neutral), and the user can open the data, the date and the official source behind it. There is one paid plan, PRO, at US$45 a month or US$432 a year.

**Why it worked.** It sold to a waiting list. In May 2026 the site collected emails with the promise of a launch discount, and today the pricing card still asks for the opening code that the list received by email. TrustMRR shows US$39,737 of payments in the launch month, 59.6% of all revenue to date. The product shows its sources for each conclusion, which the site uses as its argument against anonymous signal channels. What it has not shown is growth after the launch: monthly revenue fell to about US$4,400 from July to September.

Evidence grades: A = disclosed by a public company, a filing or a payment processor, or verified by one; B = two or more independent reports agree, or a journalist confirmed it; C = a founder claim that no one else verified; D = reported, not verified: one founder claim or a third-party estimate with no second source; calc = computed on this page from graded facts.

## Summary

Econic is a web app for traders, written in Spanish. It watches scheduled and unscheduled market events: inflation and jobs figures, decisions of the central banks of the ten largest currencies, and the earnings reports of companies in the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 indices. For each event, four AI agents react, where an AI agent is a program that calls a large language model with its own instructions and data sources and returns a structured answer. One agent reads macroeconomic data, one reads positioning (how much large investors are betting on each side, for example in the weekly COT report of the US futures regulator), one reads news sentiment and one reads company fundamentals. A filter keeps only the views on which the agents agree, and the result is a bias, a short statement that a currency or index is more likely to rise (bullish) or fall (bearish), shown with the data, date and source behind it.

The company behind it is Econic Pro LLC, formed in New Mexico, USA. TrustMRR names one founder, Alex Tomas, and gives 30 April 2026 as the founded date. On 4 May 2026 the site was still a waiting list that promised early access and a launch discount. TrustMRR reads the company's payments from Stripe, the payment processor, through an API key, so the figures are not screenshots. On 27 October 2026 it showed MRR (monthly recurring revenue, in which every active subscription counts at its monthly value) of US$4,712 from 125 active subscriptions, and US$66,719 of payments since launch. US$39,737 of that came in May 2026, the launch month.

This page grades every number by its evidence. The revenue figures are grade A because they come from Stripe through TrustMRR. The rest comes from the company's own pages: what the agents do, the prices, the AI providers and the count of 200 beta users. The page also shows four failed companies that sold market insight to investors, and it lists what is uncertain: who works on the product, how the 200 users were counted, and whether revenue will recover after the launch peak.

## Pricing

Econic plans, read on the company's pricing page on 27 October 2026 (grade C)

| Plan | Per month, billed yearly (US$) | Per month, billed monthly (US$) | Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| PRO | 36 | 45 | Full platform: all currency pairs, S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 earnings, SPX and NDX indices, evidence for each bias, push alerts, macro calendar |
| PRO with the opening code | 27 | 36 | Same plan, for people on the waiting list |

There is one plan. The page shows yearly billing first, with the monthly price of US$45 times 12 (US$540) struck through; US$432 a year is 20% less. The opening prices come from the page source (data-open-monthly="36", data-open-annual="324") and apply with the code that the waiting list received by email. Per-month values for yearly billing are calculated: 432 divided by 12 is 36, and 324 divided by 12 is 27. The terms say prices exclude VAT and sales taxes. No free plan is offered; the terms allow a free trial "sujeto a las condiciones publicadas" (subject to the published conditions, translation), and none is published.

## How much revenue does Econic make? The numbers, graded

US$4,712 of Stripe-verified monthly recurring revenue five months after a launch to a waiting list that brought US$39,737 in the first month

| Fact | Value | Grade | Note | Sources |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly recurring revenue (MRR), 27 October 2026 | US$4,712 from 125 active subscriptions | A | TrustMRR metric snapshot; revenue last synced on 27 October 2026 at 05:27 UTC through a Stripe API key. MRR growth over the last 30 days: -13.5%. | [1] |
| Verified revenue since launch, to 27 October 2026 | US$66,719 | A | TrustMRR gives the same value for the last 6 months, the last 12 months and all time, so all payments fall in the six months from May 2026. The six monthly values below add up to US$66,720 (rounding). | [1] |
| Revenue by month, 2026 | May US$39,737; June US$11,225; July US$4,352; August US$4,355; September US$4,576; October to the 27th US$2,475 | A | TrustMRR monthly timeline. Calculated: May is 59.6% of all revenue; June is 71.8% below May; July to September average US$4,428 a month. | [1] |
| Revenue in the last 30 days, to 27 October 2026 | US$2,880 | A | TrustMRR gives growth of -37.2% against the 30 days before; calculated, those earlier 30 days brought about US$4,586. The daily table shows payments on most days, from US$36 to US$513 a day. | [1] |
| Average MRR per active subscription | about US$37.70 | calc | Calculated: 4,712 divided by 125. This lies between the yearly plan's US$36 a month and the monthly plan's US$45; no source says how many subscriptions are yearly. | [1, 3] |
| MRR compared with cash revenue | MRR is 1.6 times the last 30 days of payments | calc | Calculated: 4,712 divided by 2,880 is 1.64. A yearly plan is paid once and counts in MRR at one twelfth of its price every month, so a launch with many yearly plans gives MRR above the monthly cash. | [1] |
| Profit margin, last 30 days | 80% | C | Shown in TrustMRR's metric snapshots. The payment provider gives revenue only, so the costs behind this margin do not come from it. | [1] |

| Founder | Alex Tomas, X handle @alexxtomas_ with 51 followers | C | Named only on the TrustMRR profile. The company's website, terms and privacy policy name no person. | [1] |
| Company | Econic Pro LLC, a limited liability company formed in the State of New Mexico, USA | C | Stated in the terms and the privacy policy, both last updated on 2 May 2026. TrustMRR gives the country as US. | [4, 5, 1] |
| Team | headcount not published | C | TrustMRR shows no team size. The site of 4 May 2026 said "Nuestro equipo de expertos en macroeconomía escribe" (our team of macroeconomics experts writes, translation), and today's site says each agent was "diseñado con economistas y traders con experiencia institucional" (designed with economists and traders with institutional experience, translation). No source gives a number. | [1, 7, 2] |
| Founded and launched | founded 30 April 2026; first payments in May 2026 | C | Founded date from the TrustMRR profile. The Internet Archive copy of 4 May 2026 answers "¿Cuándo se lanza? Pronto." (when does it launch? Soon, translation). The first month in TrustMRR's revenue timeline is May 2026. | [1, 7] |
| Users claimed by the company | more than 200 traders and investors after 6 months of private beta | C | Home page: "+200 traders e inversores · 6 meses en beta privada". TrustMRR's profile also shows an estimated user count of 200. Neither is a payment figure. | [2, 1] |
| Price | PRO US$45 a month or US$432 a year; with the opening code US$36 a month or US$324 a year | C | Pricing page and its page source. The site calls it "Un solo plan, sin tiers ni upsells" (a single plan, without tiers or upsells, translation). | [3, 2] |

How to read this table: a grade A value was read by TrustMRR from the company's Stripe account through an API key. A grade B value is visible in the public page source. A grade C value was written by the company on its website, in its terms or in its TrustMRR profile. A "calc" value was computed on this page from the rows above it. Spanish quotations are followed by an English translation marked (translation).

## When did Econic launch, and how did it grow? Timeline

From a waiting list on 4 May 2026 to a one-plan subscription app with 125 active subscriptions in October 2026. Each entry carries its grade.

- **30 April 2026** (grade C [1]): Founded date on the TrustMRR profile.
- **2 May 2026** (grade C [4, 5]): The terms and privacy policy of Econic Pro LLC are last updated. They name OpenAI and Anthropic, through OpenRouter, as the AI providers, and Stripe for payments.
- **4 May 2026** (grade C [7]): The Internet Archive copy of the site is a waiting list: "Acceso anticipado + descuento exclusivo al lanzamiento" (early access plus an exclusive launch discount, translation). The product then covered eight G10 currencies with weekly signals from five specialist agents and an independent evaluator agent.
- **May 2026** (grade A [1]): Launch. TrustMRR records US$39,737 of payments, the best month to date.
- **4 to 10 June 2026** (grade C [6]): The changelog adds the official source of each economic figure (4 June), the period that each figure measures (5 June), gold with direction and COT positioning (9 June), and alerts and a personal list of assets (10 June).
- **13 June 2026** (grade C [6]): The changelog says the macro direction bias was rebuilt and tested on years of market data, and now works as a weekly thesis that changes only with enough evidence.
- **June 2026** (grade A [1]): Revenue of US$11,225, 71.8% below May.
- **July to September 2026** (grade A [1]): Revenue of US$4,352, US$4,355 and US$4,576.
- **27 October 2026** (grade A [1, 3]): MRR of US$4,712 from 125 active subscriptions, and US$66,719 since launch. The pricing card still says "Acceso anticipado · solo lista de espera" (early access, waiting list only, translation).

## Why did Econic work?

### A waiting list with a launch discount

Before launch, the site asked for an email in exchange for early access and "un descuento exclusivo para early adopters". After launch, the pricing card asks for the opening code that the list received, which lowers the yearly plan from US$432 to US$324. TrustMRR shows that 59.6% of all revenue so far arrived in the launch month. No source gives the size of the list.

### Yearly billing first

The pricing card opens on yearly billing and shows the monthly price times twelve, US$540, struck through. A yearly plan brings a whole year of cash at once, which explains part of the high launch month: TrustMRR's MRR of US$4,712 is 1.6 times the cash of the last 30 days. Calculated: US$39,737 is the price of about 123 opening yearly plans, but no source says how the May payments divide between yearly and monthly plans.

### Agents with separate jobs and a filter

Each agent has its own data: central banks and economic calendars, COT positioning and options flow, news, and company filings. Their views are compared, and the site says only views that pass a coherence filter, scored out of 10, are published. In May 2026 the site described the same idea with five agents and an independent evaluator agent that rejects a synthesis below 6 out of 10.

### Evidence instead of a bare signal

Every bias opens to the figure, its date and the official source behind it. The site contrasts this with Telegram signal channels and "Señal pro COMPRA USDJPY (sin por qué)" (a pro BUY USDJPY signal, without a why, translation). The terms say the content is information and not investment advice.

## How it was built

These details come from the company's terms, privacy policy and page source. The terms and privacy policy are grade C; the page generator is visible in the page source (grade B).

- Language models from OpenAI and Anthropic, called through OpenRouter, a service that gives one API for many model providers. The privacy policy says only inputs derived from public macroeconomic data are sent to them.
- Data sources named on the site: the US Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, the Bank of Japan, FRED (the St. Louis Fed's economic database), COT reports, the Bundesbank, the BIS (Bank for International Settlements) and the People's Bank of China, plus company filings for earnings. The site says "cero scraping".
- Hosting on Railway, the database on Neon (hosted PostgreSQL), and Redis from unnamed providers, as listed among the data processors in the privacy policy.
- Stripe for subscriptions, PostHog for product analytics and session recordings with masking, Sentry for error monitoring and Resend for transactional email, all listed in the privacy policy.
- The public website is built with Astro version 5.17.1, according to its generator tag. The app itself runs at app.econic.pro behind a sign-up.

## Who tried this before Econic, and why did they fail?

Four companies in the Loot Drop database sold market insight to investors and failed. The values below are from that database and are not independently verified.

The failed startups come from Loot Drop (https://www.loot-drop.io/), a free database of dead startups, retold here in our own words; Loot Drop describes its entries as AI-assisted summaries of public sources, so they carry no evidence grade.

### Monitor110 (2005 to 2008; funding US$17M; cause: Unit Economics)

- Promise: Early trading signals for hedge funds, found by filtering blogs, news and social media in real time.
- Why it died: Collecting and processing the data cost more than the revenue could carry, and buyers stayed with Bloomberg. The analysis had to be built by a large team, without language models.
- Record: https://www.loot-drop.io/startup/348-monitor110

### SocialPicks (2007 to 2010; funding US$2.5M; cause: Competition)

- Promise: A social network where users share stock picks, so that the crowd's ideas become investment insight.
- Why it died: It never reached the number of users that crowd insight needs, lived on advertising, and the 2008 crisis reduced interest in stock forums.
- Record: https://www.loot-drop.io/startup/1658-socialpicks

### Varamis (2020 to 2025; funding US$5M; cause: Ran Out of Cash)

- Promise: AI investment analytics with institutional-grade portfolio tools for retail investors and wealth advisers.
- Why it died: Customer acquisition cost more than customers paid over their lifetime, retention was low, and the product did not stand out in a crowded fintech market.
- Record: https://www.loot-drop.io/startup/2474-varamis

### Grasp (2022 to 2024; funding US$4M; cause: No Market Need)

- Promise: An education-first investment platform that made markets understandable for everyday investors in the UK.
- Why it died: It launched as the retail trading boom of 2020 and 2021 ended, with high acquisition costs and a product that others already offered.
- Record: https://www.loot-drop.io/startup/2511-grasp

## What changed

Monitor110 needed US$17 million and a team to turn internet text into signals for hedge funds, and the cost of the processing was larger than the revenue. Varamis and Grasp raised millions to bring institutional analysis to small investors and spent it on staff and customer acquisition. In all four cases, reading and summarizing the sources was the expensive part.

Language models made that part cheap. Econic rents its models from OpenAI and Anthropic through one aggregator, reads official data such as central-bank statements and FRED series plus third-party market data, and runs on hosted services such as Railway and Neon. TrustMRR shows US$66,719 of payments in five months, which is small next to the predecessors' funding, and no source names an investor. The risk that killed Grasp is still present: retail traders try many tools, and Econic's monthly revenue fell by 88.5% from May to September.

## Can one person copy Econic now?

**Verdict: The method, yes. The launch month, maybe once.**

Multi-agent analysis of public economic data can be built by a small team with rented models, and a waiting list with a discount code can turn early interest into yearly payments on day one. But the launch peak did not repeat: from July to September revenue stayed near US$4,400 a month. Free signal channels on Telegram and Discord, which the site itself names, compete for the same traders, and a trading tool has to keep proving that its views are useful.

1. Pick one user who already pays for information, here traders with one to three years of experience, and one language market.
2. Give each AI agent one kind of data and one job, and publish only what the agents agree on, with the source attached.
3. Collect a waiting list before launch and send each person a code for a lower yearly price.
4. State clearly in the terms and on the site that the output is information, not advice, and that losses are possible.

**What is still open.** The same structure fits other readers of public data in their own language: analysts of public tenders, farm commodity prices, or energy markets. The hard part is not the build but keeping subscribers after the first year.

## What could go wrong for Econic?

- **Revenue came mostly at launch.** TrustMRR shows US$39,737 in May 2026 and about US$4,400 a month from July to September; the last 30 days to 27 October brought US$2,880, 37.2% below the 30 days before, and MRR fell 13.5% in 30 days. If many launch customers bought yearly plans, the first renewals fall in May 2027; no source says how many did.
- **Information, not advice.** The terms say the content "No constituye, en ningún caso, asesoramiento de inversión" (does not in any case constitute investment advice, translation), that Econic Pro LLC is not registered with the SEC, the CFTC, FINRA or the CNMV, and that nothing in it is "una representación, garantía o promesa de que vayas a obtener beneficios o evitar pérdidas" (a representation, guarantee or promise that you will make profits or avoid losses, translation). The site footer says "No es asesoría financiera". This page found no claim about how much users earn. The closest is the pricing line "Cuesta menos que una sola operación mal cerrada" (it costs less than a single badly closed trade, translation).
- **Testimonials without names.** The home page shows six quotations from beta users and says: "Sin nombres ni fotos, por privacidad ... Cada cita es de un usuario real de la beta" (no names or photos, for privacy; each quotation is from a real beta user, translation). They cannot be checked. No rating counts appear in the page's structured data.
- **Who runs it.** Only TrustMRR names a person, Alex Tomas, with an X account of 51 followers. The site names nobody, while it speaks of a team of macroeconomics experts and of economists and traders who designed the agents. Agent Money List calls the operator a "Solopreneur", but that is its own label. The team size is unknown.
- **Crypto and news sources.** Bitcoin, Ether, Solana and XRP are listed as coming, and the positioning agent names on-chain data. Econic does not sell a crypto token. The sentiment agent lists Reuters and Bloomberg as sources while the site says "cero news agregada" (no aggregated news, translation); no source says whether that news content is licensed.
