**The product.** A web tool that turns a topic, a PDF or a Word or PowerPoint file into a finished online course with lessons, quizzes, images and spoken audio. The author shares the course as a link that tracks each learner, or downloads it as a SCORM package for a company's learning management system.

**Why it worked.** Corporate trainers and teachers must turn existing documents into courses that their learning system can track, and older authoring tools make them build each slide by hand. The same company already sold ScormHero, a converter from PowerPoint to SCORM, so LearningStudioAI added AI generation to a format its makers knew.

Evidence grades: A = disclosed by a public company, a filing or a payment processor, or verified by one; B = two or more independent reports agree, or a journalist confirmed it; C = a founder claim that no one else verified; D = reported, not verified: one founder claim or a third-party estimate with no second source; calc = computed on this page from graded facts.

## Summary

LearningStudioAI is an e-learning authoring tool: software in which a trainer writes a course, here with an AI model that writes the first version. The author types a subject or uploads a document, and the tool produces lessons, quizzes, images and narration. The course can be exported as SCORM, the Sharable Content Object Reference Model, a standard package format that lets a learning management system (LMS), the software a company or school uses to assign courses, record who finished and with what score.

The changelog starts on 23 March 2023 with SCORM export, and the Internet Archive has a copy of the home page from 31 May 2023. The site is run by ScormHero, Inc., a Delaware company that also sells the SCORM converter ScormHero. Bruno Okamoto, host of a Brazilian micro-SaaS community, named Maurício Pradella as its founder in a September 2024 article and interviewed him in a September 2023 video.

This story has no checked revenue figure. Okamoto listed "LearningStudioAI : R$ 30k+" in that article without saying whether this is per month, per year or in total, and his video description says "De U$ 0 a U$23k usd", again with no period. The headline is therefore the course counter on the company's own home page.

## Pricing

LearningStudioAI prices on its pricing page, read 3 November 2026 (grade C)

| Plan | Per month, billed yearly (US$) | Per month, billed monthly (US$) | Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | | 39 | 5 AI course creations a month, 30 courses in the workspace, documents up to 20 pages |
| Pro | | 69 | 15 AI course creations a month, unlimited courses, documents up to 80 pages |
| Enterprise | | 149 | 50 AI course creations a month, unlimited courses, documents up to 160 pages |

The page has a switch between monthly and yearly payment, but the yearly prices load by script and could not be read, so that column is empty. The FAQ says there is no free trial; sign-up is free, but AI course generation needs a paid plan. Courses are deleted 15 days after cancellation, except 3 kept on the free tier.

## How much revenue does LearningStudioAI make? The numbers, graded

A course generator launched in 2023, with paid plans from US$39 a month and a counter of 1.39 million courses, and no revenue figure with a period

| Fact | Value | Grade | Note | Sources |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue figure in the community article, September 2024 | R$ 30k+, period not given | E | Bruno Okamoto, 10 September 2024, in a list titled "Algumas referências da nossa comunidade" (translation: some references from our community) in an article about the community's micro-SaaS "que mais faturam" (translation: that bill the most). The line reads "LearningStudioAI : R$ 30k+". It does not say per month, per year or in total, so it is not used as a headline. | [4] |
| Figure in the interview video description, September 2023 | "De U$ 0 a U$23k usd", period not given | E | Description of Okamoto's YouTube video "LearningStudioAI - Estudo de caso com Maurício Pradella", published 6 September 2023: "Como Maurício lançou e cresceu um Micro-SaaS internacional. De U$ 0 a U$23k usd." (translation: how Maurício launched and grew an international micro-SaaS. From US$0 to US$23k.) Not watched; the description gives no period. | [6] |
| Courses created, by the home-page counter | 1,391,590 | C | The company's own counter, read 3 November 2026, next to 861,100 "unique authors". On 31 October 2026 it showed 1,390,510 and 860,740. Not checked by anyone outside. | [1] |
| First changelog entry | 23 March 2023, "Download as SCORM" | C | Company changelog. The next entries, in May 2023, add video, audio, images and course embedding. | [3] |
| Earliest Internet Archive copy of the home page | 31 May 2023 | C | Wayback Machine capture index for learningstudioai.com. | [7] |
| Months from the first changelog entry to the counter reading | 44 | calc | Calculated: March 2023 to November 2026. | [1, 3] |
| Founder | Maurício Pradella | C | Named by Bruno Okamoto in two articles of 10 September 2024 and in the title of his 2023 video. The product site does not name a founder. | [4, 5, 6] |
| Company | ScormHero, Inc., Wilmington, Delaware | C | Footer of every page of the site. The same company sells ScormHero, a PowerPoint, PDF and video to SCORM converter, which the 2023 video description also links. | [1, 6, 8] |
| Team size | not published | C | No downloaded source gives a headcount. No source suggests more than 10 people. | [1, 4] |
| Prices | US$39, US$69 and US$149 a month | C | Pricing page, monthly prices. Plans are per account, with no team workspace, SSO or SAML, as the home page states. | [2, 1] |
| AI models named by the company | OpenAI voice model for narration; Google Nano Banana for images | C | Changelog, 1 October 2026 and 13 April 2026. The model that writes the courses is not named; on 6 August 2026 the changelog speaks only of "the latest generation of AI models". | [3] |
| Outside funding | none found | C | No downloaded source mentions an investor or a round. | [4, 5] |

How to read this table: grade C is what the company writes on its own site, or what a community host said about it. Grade E marks a figure that cannot be used as a revenue headline because its period is not given. A "calc" value was computed on this page. No value is grade A or B.

## When did LearningStudioAI launch, and how did it grow? Timeline

From a SCORM export feature in March 2023 to a course generator with a public API and learner analytics, in about three and a half years. Each entry carries its grade.

- **23 March 2023** (grade C [3]): First changelog entry: courses can be downloaded as SCORM packages for any SCORM-compliant LMS.
- **May 2023** (grade C [3, 7]): Video, audio with text-to-speech, images, quiz settings and embedding in WordPress, Webflow or Notion are added. The Internet Archive first captures the home page on 31 May.
- **6 September 2023** (grade C [6]): Bruno Okamoto publishes a 69-minute case-study interview with Maurício Pradella on how he launched and grew an international micro-SaaS.
- **10 September 2024** (grade C [4]): Okamoto lists LearningStudioAI among the biggest micro-SaaS of 2023 in his community, all of them AI products, with "R$ 30k+" and no period.
- **April 2026** (grade C [3]): AI image generation with Google Nano Banana on 13 April and a public API for course creation on 28 April.
- **September to November 2026** (grade C [3, 1]): Learner analytics on 13 September, narration for existing courses on 16 September, a new OpenAI voice model on 1 October. The counter shows 1,391,590 courses on 3 November.

## Why did LearningStudioAI work?

### Generation into a format buyers already require

Companies already run an LMS that accepts SCORM. A course that comes out of the tool as a SCORM package fits into that system without a new purchase, so the buyer's question is only whether the generated text is good enough.

### Built on an earlier SCORM product

The same company sold ScormHero, a converter from PowerPoint, PDF and video to SCORM. LearningStudioAI reuses that knowledge of the format and adds AI that writes the content.

### Creation limits instead of seats

Each plan allows a number of AI course creations a month, and model cost grows with each creation. The editor is free to try, but generation needs a paid plan.

## How it was built

These details come from the company's own site and the page source of its home page. They are grade C.

- A single-page web app: the home page loads script bundles named after Firebase, Stripe and Meta Pixel.
- Narration uses an OpenAI voice model with ten named voices, switched to the newest model on 1 October 2026.
- Image generation and editing use Google Nano Banana, added on 13 April 2026.
- A REST API with webhooks, added on 28 April 2026, lets other products create and export courses.
- An affiliate program runs on Rewardful and a public status page on Better Uptime, both linked in the footer.

## Who tried this before LearningStudioAI, and why did they fail?

Two companies in our database of failed startups sold online learning and failed. The values below are from that database and are not independently verified.

The failed startups come from our database of dead startups, retold here in our own words; Its entries are AI-assisted summaries of public sources, so they carry no evidence grade.

### Udacity (2011 to 2024; funding US$1B; cause: No Market Need)

- Promise: Job-ready technology skills through online Nanodegrees, later sold to companies as corporate training.
- Why it died: Most students did not finish, employers did not value the certificates, and companies wanted custom content and LMS integration, which turned the platform into a services business.
- Record:

### EduKart (2011 to 2018; funding US$1M; cause: Competition)

- Promise: Academic and professional courses for learners across India, through partnerships with institutions.
- Why it died: It depended on slow partner institutions and a desktop platform while competitors built mobile-first courses; customer acquisition cost more than customers paid.
- Record:

## What changed

Both predecessors made or licensed the courses themselves and sold them to learners, so they paid for content and for finding students. LearningStudioAI sells only the tool: the trainer brings the subject and the learners, and an AI model writes the first version of the course in minutes.

Udacity found that companies wanted custom content inside their own LMS. Generating custom content into SCORM is that product, made cheap by AI.

## Can one person copy LearningStudioAI now?

**Verdict: Yes, with a narrow format.**

Pick a file format or standard that buyers already must deliver in (SCORM here) and use an AI model to produce it from material they already have.

1. Find a format that a buyer's existing system requires and that is slow to make by hand.
2. Accept the documents the buyer already has: PowerPoint, Word, PDF.
3. Limit plans by the number of AI generations, because that is where the model cost is.
4. Add an API so other products can generate courses.

**What is still open.** Other standard training and compliance formats, such as xAPI packages, which the home page says the tool does not export.

## What could go wrong for LearningStudioAI?

- **What is not verified.** No revenue figure with a period was found. Bruno Okamoto, the community host, listed "R$ 30k+" on 10 September 2024 and his video description of 6 September 2023 says "De U$ 0 a U$23k usd"; neither says per month, per year or in total, and neither is the founder's own statement. We looked for a payment-processor profile, a founder post with a dated figure and a company filing, and found none. A reader could look for a TrustMRR or Stripe-verified profile, or ask the founder for a dated monthly figure.
- **The course counter is the company's own.** The home page shows 1,391,590 courses and 861,100 authors. No one outside has checked these numbers, and most authors may be free accounts, since sign-up is free.
- **Pages disagree on HTML export.** The FAQ says "SCORM (1.2/2004), PDF, and HTML embed formats are supported", while the summary on the home page says "There is no HTML or xAPI export".
- **Courses are deleted after cancellation.** The pricing FAQ says that after cancellation courses are deleted after 15 days, except 3 on the free tier, and shared links stop working. Customers should download their courses before they cancel.
