What Revisjon Sør AS is

Written from its maker's own pages, read on 28 October 2026.

Revisjon Sør AS is an audit firm in southern Norway, with offices in Kristiansand and Risør and roots back to 1987. An audit is an independent check of a company's annual accounts by a registered auditor, who confirms that the accounts are correct and follow the law. Revisjon Sør is a professional service firm, not a software tool.

Its services are audits and attestations (signed statements by an auditor, for example on a change of share capital), help with reporting (the technical preparation of the annual accounts and the tax return), tax and indirect-tax advice, and corporate and financial advice on mergers, demergers, capital changes and company valuations. Each client works with a fixed audit team. The firm audits with Descartes, an audit methodology developed by the Norwegian Institute of Public Accountants (Den norske Revisorforening). For questions outside its field, it works with a network of lawyers and accountants.

The firm sells its work as a service to companies. Its website publishes no prices.
