What is not verified

No revenue figure with a period was found. Bruno Okamoto, the community host, listed "R$ 30k+" on 10 September 2024 and his video description of 6 September 2023 says "De U$ 0 a U$23k usd"; neither says per month, per year or in total, and neither is the founder's own statement. We looked for a payment-processor profile, a founder post with a dated figure and a company filing, and found none. A reader could look for a TrustMRR or Stripe-verified profile, or ask the founder for a dated monthly figure. This story is grade E: the business is real and its product, price and customers are described from public pages, but no revenue figure was checked. Aiolum shows it as an idea worth studying, not as proof that it makes money.

LearningStudioAI is an e-learning authoring tool: software in which a trainer writes a course, here with an AI model that writes the first version. The author types a subject or uploads a document, and the tool produces lessons, quizzes, images and narration. The course can be exported as SCORM, the Sharable Content Object Reference Model, a standard package format that lets a learning management system (LMS), the software a company or school uses to assign courses, record who finished and with what score.

The changelog starts on 23 March 2023 with SCORM export, and the Internet Archive has a copy of the home page from 31 May 2023. The site is run by ScormHero, Inc., a Delaware company that also sells the SCORM converter ScormHero. Bruno Okamoto, host of a Brazilian micro-SaaS community, named Maurício Pradella as its founder in a September 2024 article and interviewed him in a September 2023 video.

This story has no checked revenue figure. Okamoto listed "LearningStudioAI : R$ 30k+" in that article without saying whether this is per month, per year or in total, and his video description says "De U$ 0 a U$23k usd", again with no period. The headline is therefore the course counter on the company's own home page.

LearningStudioAI: 1.39 million courses on its own counter, November 2026. AI course creator and e-learning authoring tool, United States (Delaware company); founder listed in a Brazilian micro-SaaS community, team of 2 to 10, evidence grade E.

Revenue figure in the community article, September 2024R$ 30k+, period not givenEBruno Okamoto, 10 September 2024, in a list titled "Algumas referências da nossa comunidade" (translation: some references from our community) in an article about the community's micro-SaaS "que mais faturam" (translation: that bill the most). The line reads "LearningStudioAI : R$ 30k+". It does not say per month, per year or in total, so it is not used as a headline.[4]

How to read this table: grade C is what the company writes on its own site, or what a community host said about it. Grade E marks a figure that cannot be used as a revenue headline because its period is not given. A "calc" value was computed on this page. No value is grade A or B.

LearningStudioAI prices on its pricing page, read 3 November 2026 (grade C)
PlanPer month, billed yearly (US$)Per month, billed monthly (US$)Limit
Starter395 AI course creations a month, 30 courses in the workspace, documents up to 20 pages
Pro6915 AI course creations a month, unlimited courses, documents up to 80 pages
Enterprise14950 AI course creations a month, unlimited courses, documents up to 160 pages

The page has a switch between monthly and yearly payment, but the yearly prices load by script and could not be read, so that column is empty. The FAQ says there is no free trial; sign-up is free, but AI course generation needs a paid plan. Courses are deleted 15 days after cancellation, except 3 kept on the free tier.

03

Why did LearningStudioAI work?

Four causes, in the order they mattered. Each one is a reusable lesson.

01

Generation into a format buyers already require

Companies already run an LMS that accepts SCORM. A course that comes out of the tool as a SCORM package fits into that system without a new purchase, so the buyer's question is only whether the generated text is good enough.

02

Built on an earlier SCORM product

The same company sold ScormHero, a converter from PowerPoint, PDF and video to SCORM. LearningStudioAI reuses that knowledge of the format and adds AI that writes the content.

03

Creation limits instead of seats

Each plan allows a number of AI course creations a month, and model cost grows with each creation. The editor is free to try, but generation needs a paid plan.

How it was built

These details come from the company's own site and the page source of its home page. They are grade C. [1, 3]

  • A single-page web app: the home page loads script bundles named after Firebase, Stripe and Meta Pixel.
  • Narration uses an OpenAI voice model with ten named voices, switched to the newest model on 1 October 2026.
  • Image generation and editing use Google Nano Banana, added on 13 April 2026.
  • A REST API with webhooks, added on 28 April 2026, lets other products create and export courses.
  • An affiliate program runs on Rewardful and a public status page on Better Uptime, both linked in the footer.

Who tried this before LearningStudioAI, and why did they fail?

Two companies in our database of failed startups sold online learning and failed. The values below are from that database and are not independently verified.

Died 2011 to 2024Burned US$1B

Udacity

The promise

Job-ready technology skills through online Nanodegrees, later sold to companies as corporate training.

Why it died

Most students did not finish, employers did not value the certificates, and companies wanted custom content and LMS integration, which turned the platform into a services business.

No Market Need
Died 2011 to 2018Burned US$1M

EduKart

The promise

Academic and professional courses for learners across India, through partnerships with institutions.

Why it died

It depended on slow partner institutions and a desktop platform while competitors built mobile-first courses; customer acquisition cost more than customers paid.

Competition

The failed startups come from our database of 1,749 dead startups, retold here in our own words. Its entries are AI-assisted summaries of public sources, so these cards carry no evidence grade.

What changed

Both predecessors made or licensed the courses themselves and sold them to learners, so they paid for content and for finding students. LearningStudioAI sells only the tool: the trainer brings the subject and the learners, and an AI model writes the first version of the course in minutes.

Udacity found that companies wanted custom content inside their own LMS. Generating custom content into SCORM is that product, made cheap by AI.

05

Can one person copy LearningStudioAI now?

Yes, with a narrow format.

Pick a file format or standard that buyers already must deliver in (SCORM here) and use an AI model to produce it from material they already have.

Where it is still open: Other standard training and compliance formats, such as xAPI packages, which the home page says the tool does not export.

  1. 1Find a format that a buyer's existing system requires and that is slow to make by hand.
  2. 2Accept the documents the buyer already has: PowerPoint, Word, PDF.
  3. 3Limit plans by the number of AI generations, because that is where the model cost is.
  4. 4Add an API so other products can generate courses.

What could go wrong for LearningStudioAI?

The risks are the mirror image of the causes above.

The course counter is the company's own

The home page shows 1,391,590 courses and 861,100 authors. No one outside has checked these numbers, and most authors may be free accounts, since sign-up is free.

Pages disagree on HTML export

The FAQ says "SCORM (1.2/2004), PDF, and HTML embed formats are supported", while the summary on the home page says "There is no HTML or xAPI export".

Courses are deleted after cancellation

The pricing FAQ says that after cancellation courses are deleted after 15 days, except 3 on the free tier, and shared links stop working. Customers should download their courses before they cancel.
